She thought of death like the seam of a hem: each time you lose someone close, it unraveled a little. You could still go along with your life, but you’d be forever tripping over something you previously took for granted. — Jodi Picoult, Second Glance
And oh she had been broken. She hid it well, but Ross knew from personal experience that once you had put the pieces together, even though you might look intact, you were never quite the same as you’d been before the fall — Jodi Picoult, Second Glance
People don’t understand why I”m afraid that if I give him up, nobody else will want me.
Yes, it might be true that I can easily find someone else who is attracted to me. But to have a person who is willing to settle down with you, how often do you come across a person like that? Someone who loves you with his all, albeit him being anal and really annoying at times.
But I don’t wanna stay out of fear.
I want to go out and see the world, leave the comfort zone he has created for me. Yet I’m afraid to have my heart trampled on, am afraid that after I’m done seeing the world, there’s no more ‘home’ for me to come back to.
Will I find another ‘home’?
I don’t know. I don’t know what I want, and I guess that’s what frustrates me the most.

Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don’t know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings. — (via raindropsonredroses)
Do you have what it takes? If your marriage is in trouble, can you weather the storm? Maybe you just need to hold on tight and no matter what, don’t let go. — Grey’s Anatomy (via eletheowl)

A healthy relationship keeps the doors and windows wide open. Plenty of air is circulating and no one feels trapped. Relationships thrive in this environment. Keep your doors and windows open. If the person is meant to be in your life, all the open doors and windows in the world, will not make them leave. Trust that truth. — (via raindropsonredroses)
